For Public

The Whitegoods Trade Association is dedicated to many tasks, one of the primary ones is to ensure that its members trade in a fair and reputable manner. To this end we have our Code Of Practice which offers clear guidlines in plain English of what we expect from our members.

This Code Of Practice for appliance repairers is regulated by a body known as "The Advisory Council" which has almost the sole task of ensuring that people are dealt with fairly and that members act in accordance with the association's guidlines. This is actively monitored.

This is the only Code Of Practice that is monitored in an independent manner in the UK appliance repair industry and that offers an arbitration service in the event of any dispute
