The August update to the website has been done ,with new content added, more about the Whitegoods Trade Association and how and why it all came about.

However the main reason for this news item is the fact that it is our intention to officially form the association at the upcoming UK Whitegoods meeting in September. Details of the meeting venue can be found from this link although you will require trade access to the forums to view this thread.

The meeting, one of two traditionally held by the UK Whitegoods community the other being in February or early March, seemed the ideal venue with which to accomplish this task for several reasons.

Most of the people involved are there anyway, so by doing this at the same time saves another wasteful day out of their businesses and keeps the costs to the members as low as possible. The meeting will be held at the Millers Hotel, Sibson from 10:30am on the 28th September 2007, please contact the venue directly for current room availability.

It is the intent at this meeting to approve and ratify the WTA constitution as well as holding a general discussion on the future direction of the association so, should you have an interest, please try to be there.
