A new brand of domestic appliance products has been introduced to the UK under the Montpellier brand name that are available exclusively to trade businesses from Domestic Appliance Distributors (DAD) based in Gloucestershire. And, working in conjunction with Montpellier the Whitegoods Trade Association has facilitated the construction of national service cover for the brand.
Montpellier's new range off appliances includes both freestanding and built in dishwashers, tumble dryers and even an American fridge freezer that are aimed squarely at the mid-market area. The products have been specified with better features, finish and looks from cheaper products available.
John Graham who is responsible for the brand had said that the service had been an important consideration from the inception of the new Montpellier brand and wanted to offer a quality repair service wherever required should an appliance break down and, to do that, the best way was through independent WTA registered repairers. Having a solid repair service that there is direct communication with is essential in building a new brand and offering customers the level of service that they should expect.
Of course the WTA members are passionate about offering the best possible service and of course took up the job with Ian Dales responsible for liaising between Montpellier and WTA members to build a truly bespoke solution to suit Montpellier.
Unlike alternative service solutions, the ability to tailor the agents, skills and offer retailer own service was important to Montpellier and some of the services cannot be provided by national repair services. Of course, this also delivers a far more pleasant and localised service to customers.
Lawrence Carey, the WTA chairman has been delighted at the response from members and both applauds and thanks the membership for their fantastic support in making this project the success that it has proven to be.
