New Contact Email Addresses

We have introduced new email addresses to save confusion and to ensure that any enquiries are dealt with more promptly as they will now be received by the person most able to answer the enquiry.

 The addresses are published after the break along with a brief outline of their purpose.

FGAS Certification

The Whitegoods Trade Association is pleased to announce that is has been approved by the Secretary Of State and DEFRA to offer F Gas interim personnel certificates for those with suitable experience.

The certificates are available with immediate effect and any applications should be processed within 14 days of reciept and non-members are also welcome to apply.

General Update

It has been a while since we've had any real news to report for the WTA but there have been some things going on.

For starters we should probably tell you about the successful February meeting.    But first of all, a huge thanks to Ian Dales for the massive effort he put in to making it all happen.

WTA Commitee Elections 2009/11.

The WTA was formed at the UKWhitegoods September Meeting of 2007 and a Commitee elected by those members present, with a mandate to serve a term of two years. Those two years are now coming to a close and the Membership is invited to vote upon a Commitee to serve for the next two years.

WTA Features In The Sunday Express

A while back we were contacted by a reporter for the Sunday Express Magazine asking us for information on appliance in general and how they lasted. Of course the angle was that modern appliances are not lasting as long as older ones and, often, not performing as well either.

Of course we helped as much as we could and gave as much information as possible to help with the story.
